“Members of the Islamic State (ISIS) terrorist organization claimed responsibility for the series of bombings in Brussels on Tuesday, in which at least 34 victims were murdered and 186 more were wounded.
“ISIS took responsibility for the bombings through a news website affiliated with it, as cited by Reuters. The attack would mark the latest in a series of high-profile attacks on European soil by the jihadist group; last November ISIS launched a series of six coordinated attacks in Paris which left 130 people murdered. Security forces continue to work to hunt down the suspects involved in Tuesday’s attacks.”
As noted in our original article, Donald Trump previously called for a complete shutdown of Muslim immigration. Mr. Trump also said that Brussels was “a hellhole” in January. Ted Cruz on the other hand only called for a temporary halt for Muslims from Islamic State Nations. Me too Ted made that call following the shutdown proposal of Donald Trump. The halt proposed by Ted Cruz would not prevent Radical Muslim’s coming from other countries such as Belgium. Ted Cruz (who also sided with the violent protesters in Chicago), was quick to place the blame not on the terrorists, but on his opponent Donald Trump. Ted Cruz said:
“Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack. Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it, hand ISIS a major victory.”
Ted Cruz has become insufferably arrogant and sounds a lot like the ISIS sympathizer’s on the left. He thinks he’s the sharpest knife in the drawer, yet he doesn’t seem to understand that NATO is for fighting off foreign attacks on Treaty Signatories, not for other countries domestic protection.
I wholeheartedly agree with Mr. Trump’s remarks on NATO. It’s only in recent years that the Republican party became nation builders and interventionists. I would be happy to go back to taking care of our own countries needs. We are trillions of dollars in debt Senator Cruz and for claiming to be a fiscal conservative, you sure don’t seem to mind the exorbitant amounts of money we spend on NATO defending other countries. What do you think about Ted Cruz’s remarks? Please tell us in the comment section below.
