Paul Ryan has so far refused to support Donald Trump for President. Breitbart reports he still may not support him following a meeting tomorrow.
“A source from Ryan’s office revealed that the speaker will be unlikely to endorse Trump after the meeting on Thursday, which staff has described as the beginning of a conversation.
When asked about the differences the Speaker had with Trump on controversial policies such as trade and immigration, Ryan denied that it would be a problem in the upcoming election.”

Pat Buchanan writes:
“Someone should instruct Paul Ryan that losers do not make demands. They make requests. They make pleas.
What makes Ryan’s demands more astonishing is that he is the designated chairman of the Republican National Convention, a majority of whose delegates and whose nomination Trump is about to win.
Ryan is saying he is ambivalent over whether he will accept the verdict of the Cleveland convention — of which he is the chairman.
If Ryan holds to his refusal to accept the decision of the Republican majority in the primaries, he should be removed from that role. And if Ryan does not come out of Thursday’s meeting with the Donald, endorsing him, the presumptive nominee should turn to Paul Ryan, and, in two words, tell him, “You’re fired!”
Following Ryan’s refusal to support Trump a petition calling for Paul Ryan’s removal as the overseer of the Republican Convention was launched. The petition was started on May 7th, and it has more than 14,000 signatures. The petition reads:
Since Paul Ryan has reneged on his pledge to support the GOP Nominee (Donald Trump,) he should be removed as the chairperson of the Republican National Convention, in which delegates of the United States Republican Party will choose the party’s nominees for President of the United States and Vice President of the United States in the 2016 national election will be held July 18–21, 2016.
